Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

When I searched up sad anime online, did I expect to bawl my eyes out? Did I even expect it to be sad? After finishing this anime, i'm ashamed that I put off watching it for so long. I'm really glad that Anohana is a short anime. It didn't drag on forever, and it was short enough to capture every emotion in depth. These 11 episodes were really well rounded, with a great conclusion. Despite it being short, i recommend watching it over a few days so that you can gather your thoughts. Maybe i was an emotional wreck because it was so inspiring andmoving (or maybe it was 4am and i was sleep deprived). However, I can confidently recommend Anohana to anyone who likes a good paced slice of life.
