Review of Haibane Renmei

A mere story-based perspective that is deeper than you think. Haibane Renmei could simply be argued that it's just another abstraction of angels. However, what's great about this anime is not the concept itself but the characteristics behind it. The story makes you ponder much, because it never makes anything clear. Conveying only mere hints that are trifling. I have never in my existence given such a peculiar anime as this a solid 10/10 before. I am honestly surprised that I have given this anime a full score without any reluctance nor feel uneasy about it. The breathtaking, speechless, puzzling moments and scenes I've perceived inthis anime. They're indescribable.

I don't know you. But my brain stopped working as I progressed through the show. I thought, thought and thought. Trying to find realistic answers to unanswered questions that constantly popped inside my head every time the anime does a pro gamer move because the story never reveals. Up until the point where I just gave up thinking and wait patiently for the story to secrete out its secrets ( Though my "examinations" were correct, I did not feel satisfied because the anime kept teasing me ).

To summarize Haibane Renmei in a simple term. The whole anime could be compared to the life cycle of a bird. They are born, they grow, then they leave their nest. If you think profoundly ( if you have watched the anime of course ), my summary is precisely correct. I won't put any spoilers for the sake of the innocent individuals who are currently reading this review. So I'll just leave it at this.

The only thing I detest about this show is the voice acting. Well, not just this show to be wise but every old shows. They tend to have bad voice acting and occasionally I just tend to overlook or roast them until they're overcooked in my reviews depending on how I feel that day. Today, I feel mediocre so I won't criticize much about this show's voice acting.

Too weak. The conveying is too weak. It doesn't match the character's current expression and scenario. This unfortunately also led to my dislike for certain characters that I will not be mentioning. The score for sound could've easily been 5 at best but it was saved by my generosity.

Overall, I really enjoyed the anime. I didn't cry. I didn't get happy. I simply think. Speechlessly. Think. Think. Think. Until my brain dies but it was worth it. Ugh, what am I saying? Sorry if my review is weird. My brain is dead. Anyways. I recommend this to everyone. Its weird. Very weird so you, no, y'all should try it out.
