I'll keep it short since there are already great detailed reviews of this anime. But since Touch is one of the best anime series out there, I had to write and recommend it. The way Touch plays out as well as the characters who are very original and unique makes it a masterpiece.The story is very easy to follow, yet the characters contain so much depth that I was just amazed beyond words. Don't let the old artwork or the fact that it was produced in the 80's deter you from watching it. Once you start it, you better have a lot of time anda comfortable chair because you won't want to stop!

I also liked it because it really reminded me of what Japanese high school life was like. The baseball team, strict coaches (not as mean as Kashiwaba lol) the different sports and clubs, athletic meets, okonomiyaki, the personalities Japanese students have, etc. and just their lives in general.
