Review of Bakemonogatari

Spoiler free~ I make simple reviews for not so simple anime, this series was something I remember seeing clips of on youtube back when it came out. As it is the first anime I had ever watched out of my own curiosity, and because of this it was a much more hard core introduction to anime then a normal person coming into anime with shows like bleach or naruto. It gave me a lot of mixed feelings, not bad ones more like feelings of question towards myself. The soundtrack is to blame as well as the dialogue between characters because I was just blown away immediately byhow different they were from normal people and characters in tv shows I had saw before anime. Even now this series stands out, not just because of the style it has but because the writing of these characters felt so charismatic and natural.

They feel so real and make you really interested in who they are, and I suppose its that mystery this show possess that brings people to holding it so dear. The mystery is also strengthened by how its release order went, and while most shows kick off with an origin story, this one went and threw you in after a big change happened with the mc and it just made you so curious and invested in learning more and I loved that.
