Review of Fate/Zero
Without spoiling it, it's basically a battle royal with magic and guns, in which our protagonist deals with moral dilemmas in an anti-hero fashion. Has a bit of strategy, secret agendas and betrayals which interconnect perfectly to make a what i consider a rare gem, a great mature action fantasy drama. Story: Although i believe the ending is not as bad as some say, it’s clear to most that it’s not on the same level as the rest of the story. Art: Beautiful job done by studio Ufotable, enjoyable by all and attractive for those who favor great visuals Sound: Pretty great, especially in the epic fightsthe show has to offer
Character: Well developed characters, some more than others, but since it’s a battle royal with so many characters it’s something bound to happen.
Enjoyment: Great fight scenes with great and diverse characters. Thrilling plot untill the end, making you always want to see more. Has good dramatic and moral moments, some which go make look flawed and unnecessarily dramatic but others which may shock you and make you think
In summary, great action, great visuals and soundtrack, great characters and overall great story. The ending is pushed back a little bit, because there's a sequel to which the ending must follow.
