Review of Neon Genesis Evangelion
A great watch from start to finish, this show lives up to the hype that surrounds it as one of the singular greatest anime ever made. the story is thought-provoking and unique, the characters are likeable, quirky and once again, unique. This show is one of the best that not just anime, but media as a whole has to offer, and every weeb, otaku, weeaboo and non-anime fan must watch this show and I hope you have an incredible time whilst doing so. The mecha battles are very well animated and are visually stunning to look at (unless you have become accustomed to modern animationstyle and it's more fluid animation) but where it primarily stands out is the philosophical aspects of the show exploring themes of love, friendship, hatred, family. it dives into these themes by using rei, Asuka, Shinji and Misato as the vessels for studying and exploring how they affect people's actions, thoughts and words.
also, I'm 100% sure that after watching this you qualify for a philosophy degree.
