First of all, I don't speak English, so my English is a crap, so take that into consideration... Despite this anime already 55 years old, the story of season 1 was incredibly annoying and drawn-out. What Joe experienced was indeed tragic, but why did he insist on being a stubborn-delinquent young man?! I'll be continuing the next season, hopefully, as the story is better, as it was rated better on MAL than season 1.
