Review of Waiting in the Summer

This anime was one of my favorites for me, nearly instantly to be honest. I immediately fell in love with every character and the story made me actually interested, i watched this entire series in a single night and wish there was a 2nd season, even tho there may not be much content for one. The visual style of this anime was amazing imo, it gave off small-town japan vibes with a small friend group who liked filmmaking. In the anime, they made a film with old special effects that looked pretty crappy and had bad acting, but I felt like I waswatching their film as I watched the anime, don't know how to explain it or put it into words but if you watch it you may understand
The sometimes funny nature of the anime made it amazing as well I loved how it could go from depressing to funny in seconds, and it was just generally an all-around amazing experience. 9/10
