Review of Den-noh Coil

Loved this series. It starts off with a twist on kids having hacker battles in the imagined future of this story's world. We're immediately treated to what is perhaps this story's strongest suite -- the character personalities. As this story developed, it was the interaction between the interesting characters that kept me coming back for more. The story arc is actually a kind of sci-fi mystery. It would have been perfect if only the so-called cyberworld of the future made more sense. As it was, one kind of has to suspend sketpicism to allow the story's magical technology be what itis. At times, it felt more like an occult mystery story, but ultimately it didn't matter too much, because the payoff and satisfaction was in watching the main players resolve their personal differences with each other and solve the central mystery. Recommend.
