Review of Sword Art Online

Alright so the only reason I have watched SAO is because I was curious on how bad it is, and turns out it is pretty bad especially Alfheim arc. I have decided to review both arcs of season 1 and give them separate rating each, without further ado let's get into it. First I'm going to start with the general problems of the anime before the actual arcs. The anime has an interesting concept I will give it that, but it fails on so many things, Kirito is a walking cardboard off a character, standard AF, blatantly overpowered for no reason. Asuna is a genericAF tsundere and her badass intro is thrown out of the window[ overall a wasted potential of a character] Every single one of these characters has no development whatsoever and is flawed in multiple ways, there are mainly stereotypes.Reki Kawahara's writing is dogshit. Man's used every single stereotype and made the story the most standard, cliche thing you have ever seen, nice motivation and overaching goal for Kayaba bro, I actually liked his character before episode 14, thanks Reki for messing him up. The anime takes itself way too seriously as well. The romance between Kirito and Asuna is the most unrealistic thing I have seen in a while, it's like it is written by a kid who thinks this is how love works, like come on Reki.
Let's go to what I call the SAO arc.

Pros:
Entertaining
A fun experience for gamers[ including myself, I liked the terms and a couple of references]
Bad ass introduction to Yuuki Asuna
Epic fight scenes
You get to see a society built on a virtual reality game

Cons:
Asuna's character is wasted potential ended up being a generic tsundere
Kirito is overpowered for no reason and is a chick magnet because he is the main character
Takes itself way too seriously
Characters are forgettable, not memorable and are stereotypes
A lot of problems
Fishing episode
Episode 14 where Kayaba forgot why he trapped a crap ton of people to die in a video game

Rating of this arc is a 5/10 despite it's problems it is decent enough and it enjoyable to say the least.
Now about Alfheim arc, it is the worst arc ever that I have seen in any anime.

Pros:
Epic fight scenes

Cons:
The most garbage arc I have seen out of any anime [I have watched a lot of anime, hell it is worse than some Naruto and one piece filler arcs
Is really boring
Recon aka Nagata is a terrible character
The same applies to Sugou Nobuyuki
Reki implemented a lot of disturbing and disgusting molestation scenes involving Asuna and Sugou
There is a character that only exists because weebs and otakus have a fetish for incest This character is named Suguha and he is a ''sister'' character who is actually Kazuto's [Kirito] cousin, her entire character development and traits is based off incest, great fucking job Reki writer of the year 2012 goddamn. Is extremely convoluted took a while to figure out what happened
This arc drags the anime down

I give this dogshit arc of SAO called Alfheim a 4, originally a 3 felt nice at the moment lol, personally if it weren't for this arc I would have gave SAO a much more higher rating. As for the for the overall rating of the anime, it's a 5/10, definitely enjoyable and watchable for every single anime audience out there, even tho I don't really recommend this anime to anyone, maybe that's what Alfheim has done to me who knows tho.
