Review of Shiki

Shiki... This is that type of show where after last episode you start thinking: Who is the real monter in this world? I've heared about this show from my friend he said "Hey, you like dark anime, right? Try Shiki you'll like it". I decided to start watching it at 6 p.m., I finished it at 4 a.m. the same day and i didn't regret single minute spent with this anime. I found the story be kind of slow paced in the begining but this changed after few first episodes. It turned out to be magnificent story with lots of secrets and situations when after each episodeyou stare at your screen and ask yoursef "What did I just watch?".

However story is not everything in this show. When I've heared music in this anime for the first time I was amused. Every time music started playing I had chills going down my spine. Each and every track was just perfect and made this show even darker and sadder.

Shiki is not simple horror story. This is story where is no good nor bad side. This is sorrowful story about fight for survival in world full of monsters. "But who are these monsters?" you may ask. This is the question which you need answer to yourself when you finish this incredible show. However believe me...

Sometimes, true monsters don't have long claws and sharp teeth...
