Review of High School of the Dead

All in all, Highschool Of The Dead was heart-pounding, as well as nerve wracking. I enjoyed having different characters to choose from, whether it be a ditzy nurse, a gun otaku, or even a "basic" protagonist. It also didn't just focus on the main character's problems as it constantly shifted. The artwork is amazing as you usually get close ups of the zombies in detail, along with colors that added to each other nicely. However, while the character development is quite good, it constantly lacks at the end. After I finished it, I was left with a feeling that there was a season 2, butto my surprise, they weren't even considering it. So I decided to read the manga version, only to see that the manga goes way farther then the show itself, which I was happy about but also the manga stopped for sometime, and as I write this season 2 keeps being announced for later years, so one can only hope. I for one, wish for a conclusion to this blood-induced, gun-swirling anime.
