Review of High School of the Dead

Highschool of the dead is an anime that has receive a lot of criticism throughout the years. Mostly for it's fanserviece, or it's generic plot.. But in my opinion this is what makes Highschool of the Dead special. While other ecchi, like High-Dchool dxd is praised , High-School of the Dead is treated as a bottom of the barrel anime often look down upon. Well, I am here to tell u that High-school of the Dead is a masterpiece and a hell of an entertaining show, a very easy show to enjoy if you take it as it is. Plot 8/10 What's makes high-schoolof the dead special is it's simplicity, it's a zombie apocalyptic anime, nothing more nothing less. It doesn't derive from it's narrative and become something bigger like aot, but embraces the imaginative horror of a zombie apocalyptic world. Even though it isn't anything unique, it does executes ths tropes of zombie media in an entertaining fashon. High tensions moments and emotional breakdowns in the anime are executed beautifully, and the setting doesn't seem edgy or forced in any way.

Enjoyment 10/10 The action, the waifus and even the plot is surprisingly good. The characters are mostly likeable and the MC is a GigaChad, which doesn't take bullshit, unlike many mcs. Cough Issei. Most of the characthers are llikeable and are vwry easy to get attached to.

Art 9/10 The animation and artwork and the PLOT, if you know what I mean is very good. The production for this anime is far ahead of it's time and is amazing even for today standards.

Overall 9/10 it's a hell of a great show, one of the best ecchi out. If you don't completely despise ecchi and actually like creative fanserviece, like me this show won't disappoint.. It has everything tittes, emotions, good characters and great waifus. It definitely one of the best ecchi anime out there
