Review of High School DxD

"Highschool DxD has too much ecchi/nudity." That's one of the reasons I took so long to watch this series... But for some reason, I decided to watch To Love-Ru before this. So, basically, there's not a lot of ecchi in Highschool DxD in comparison. Anyway, that aside, I found this series to be really awesome, and here's why. Story (8): I don't feel like this story is completely original. Maybe I've seen something similar somewhere before, but that doesn't really matter. It's still a great plot regardless. The way the story progresses around the main characters keeps your attention constantly! Art (8): The art is very good.The drawings are all nice, and the ecchi is well done as well. I think the show shines when the action scenes are in play!

Sound (8): Awesome music, awesome sound effects, characters have cool voices as well.

Characters (9): When the main character of an anime considered "harem" is actually really freaking awesome, then the show is guaranteed to be successful. Not only is the main character actually cool and perverted, but all the other main characters have their own unique personalities and abilities. This isn't your typical harem anime after all!

Enjoyment (8): There were a lot of times I laughed. I even felt moved at some of the emotional scenes. However, with a lot of build-up leading to certain action scenes, the excitement becomes palpable and I can't help but say "YES!" when something awesome happens!

Overall (8): Really good series. So glad I've got several more complete seasons ahead of me to watch!
