Review of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
A mix between Death Note and Neon Genesis Evangelion, Code Geass is fast-paced and shocking. I took a break halfway through watching this and I really regret it. There are so many moving parts, since this is a war, that even if the buildup is taking a while, the outcome is definitely worth it. There are fantastical elements with the use of geass, obviously there are war elements with a lot of mecha, and surprisingly complicated characters. One moment you think it has died down, something shocking strikes and you are sucked back in again. In terms of design, I would understand if some peopledo not like the look of the show but I really love it especially knowing that the designs are by CLAMP. If you've seen either of the shows I've mentioned before, then I definitely recommend this.
