Review of Fate/Zero

This is a general review for both seasons of Fate/Zero: Story-9 Zero has to be the most interesting and engaging story out of all Fate related stuff (probably only the Lostbelt storyline tops it off). It revolves around the events that took place during the Fourth Holy grail war. Initially it introduces the characters (that are quite a lot and probably you may need to rewatch some scenes) and their motives for obtaining the holy grail. If you are new to the Fate franchise, at first you may be discouraged from continuing the anime as it will take some time to get used to the charactersand learn how some processes like summoning works, but the wait is worth it.

Art-8
The animation is quite good (even though not as good as that of Fate/Stay Night). It has to be one of the most iconic and best fights out of all the anime I watched (straight to the point with no blah-blah bullshit).

Sound-10
The soundtracks and Openings/Endings are quite nice especially "This Day and Never Again".

Character-8
The characters featured in Zero are very intriguing and it features some of the most interesting characters of the whole series. The character development is spot on and you will definitely find someone to empathize with.

Enjoyment-9
What makes the show stand out and keep the viewer interested is its unpredictability, its extraordinary fights that blend well with the soundtracks and the character development and how the views of each character contradict with each other.

Overall-9
Fate/Zero has to be the best out of all anime adaptations of the series. It features some of the best characters of the series, no major plot holes that would make the show look stupid like having unreasonably strong and braindead homunculus for a main character.
