Review of School Days

Love; love exists in finite quantity. Those whom abuse the infinite possibilities bestowed upon them by God almighty, will one day uncover the answer they have been seeking has been weeping and withering upon every act of unfaithfulness, unfaithfulness to thyself, to the opposite sex, and unfaithfulness to the very meaning of love itself. The saddening reality of this piece, the saddening reality of the world we live in, is that one no longer acts for the sake of others, there is no selfless hero, no faithful lover, only lust and hasteful infatuation in the name of self interest. The hatred for this work comeseither in the inward hatred of squandered instances of romance or the outward hatred of the decrepit remains of a once caring and devoted society. Whether the subtlety of this truth was realised in the first few episodes, or it took an ending which broke down the doors of convention to grip the viewer with the reality that this lifestyle is destructive to everyone involved and can end painfully for those who would mistakenly give their place in Gods heavenly choir for a slice of devilish desire.
