Review of Akira

Okay,so i literally just watched it and even though i have mixed feelings about it I still feel this movie is amazing and everyone should wacth it.And I think ill like it more if I analyze it here. So, what did i like more? Easy,the animation style, clean and amazing, one of my favorite movie genres is cyberpunk and they portraited it perfectly (maybe because it IS one of the most important cyberpunk movies lol). The soundtrack? AMAZING, every scene was filled with interesting combination of sounds and melodies that represents each scene amazingly. And,of course, the meanings and messages, i really like movies where theycritize humanity, specially the thirst for power and inmortality.The gigantic wish to have everything controlled and feel like gods, can only end in two possible paths, the creation or destruction of something,and when it comes with uncontrolled ambition, like Tetsuo, it will end in suffering.It also talks about corruption, and what can say about it? It is a reality we cannot forget.It has a messy storyline and they dont explain much, so sometimes it feels were rushing and we do not know where are we going.

The end? Well, it talks about the reborn of humanity,its an optimistic end ,but it will definitely going to make you re-think many things,and well i guess i like those endings. In conclusion, watch it, this type of movies have A LOT of messages you will only discover if you see it!
