Review of Shakugan no Shana: Season I

Well I finally got around to watching Shakugan no Shana, and I must say I\'m thoroughly glad I did. The story was somewhat original - neither a standard anime storyline nor a groundbreaking unprecedented plot. The animation style is not the most flashy or intricate, but the action sequences are mostly well animated. I\'ve seen much worse, but I\'ve also seen much better. The music is good, but typical. Nothing new there. The characterization is interesting, but verges on outrageous at times. There are times when the things the characters do/say are very hard to take seriously.Despite how mediocre my description must make the series seem, it is actually quite entertaining and dramatic. All in all, you can\'t go wrong.
