Plastic-neesan was probably one of the best ONA’s I’ve seen in quite a while. The wacky zany humor that happens on a continuous basis is what make the anime a great one. There were times, however, where I felt that the humor was too zany that it sort of distracts you from the story. The other times, it actually makes up for it for having sub-storylines that actually make the show more entertaining and a pleasure to sit through. Most of the episodes that were classroom-centric involved cutscenes that were a lot more hilarious than they intended to be. From dealing with Saotomi and herbattles of being the overweight UwU girl at school (even though no one cares), to the famous scene of Kuniki shaking his pelvis to distract bullies (while also getting picked up by the police in the process), there is something in this anime for people to enjoy and laugh at.

Even if most cutscenes in the show feel random than usual, it does make up for it when you pay attention to the MC’s roles as a Model Club group that have castles, trains and tanks on their heads.
