Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

So I'm just gonna rant on this show a little bit this won't be a long "review" I gave it a 7 and I gotta get this off my chest. I think Anohana is overrated and I can't get the hype behind it. The plot is full of holes and the main character bugged me so much with his mindset. Spoilers Ahead: Honestly this anime is overrated. I always asked why menma couldn't show her presence by picking up something or writing on a book whenever the gang doubted jinta (literally happens every episode) and nothing ever happened till around the end. 2nd of all why tfis a 16 year old and his douche "friend" (who hates him) still in love with her it's been 10 years fam, she's dead. The other guy is literally smelling a wig that looks like Menmas hair like there's something wrong with this dude. I really wanted Jinta and Anaru together so it bugged me so much when he left her and kept going in the work scene after she hugged him crying like you're just gonna leave a lady who's in love with you like that? But it's shown that they may start dating in the end so I'm completely fine with the ending since I can just interpret it as them ending up together but she should've been the first choice over a literal ghost...
Verdict Overrated but not a bad watch. The plot has many holes till the end and the characters are very selfish and some of their actions are extremely messed up. The voice acting and animation (as expected of A1 Pictures) are top notch so I give Anohana a solid 7/10 for Good.
