Review of Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro

I thought this was going to be another one of those anime where I just watch at 1.5x speed for the sake of watching it (not because I hated it, but because it just wasn't really that intriguing), however on later episodes it actually becomes significantly better. I found the first few episodes to be off-putting where the 'teasing' feels eccentric and unconventional, pretty much the type that makes "bullying in real life vs bullying in anime" memes with this anime a valid mockery. But on later episodes, the teasing actually starts to get better and more reasonable, and the development of the relationship between the maincharacters makes much more sense compared to the previous episodes. It's as if they were trying to do away with mediocre skits on the early episodes to make later episodes much better.

If I were the type of person who decides to leave a review on the 4th episode, I would've given this anime a much lower rating compared to watching it fully. Overall, I enjoyed this anime but I wouldn't recommend having high expectations especially for the early episodes.
