Review of Wonder Egg Priority: My Priority

I don't usually write reviews for the anime that I watch, but I felt like I had to write one for this special. When I first watched WEP I really enjoyed the series up until the ending. The last few episodes felt very different from the rest and I feel like the ending of the first season didn't really explain much and was very confusing. Because of all that I was pretty optimistic when I heard that a special would be released in the summer to tie loose ends and so on. This special really didn't do that. The recap at the beginning was ok. I didn't mindit and it was ok to watch so that I could get on track with the show since it aired a long time ago. After the first 20 mins or so (the recap) we got back on track with the ending of the first season. And after that everything was very confusing.

The special really didn't do much with continuing, explaining and tying loose ends and it honestly made me more confused.

I really didn't understand exactly what happened to Neiru. The resolution to her story felt very unnatural and weird. I also would have loved for the special to show Neiru's last dream while also exploring her and her sister's relation ship. I also really didn't understand what happened with Ai Momo and Rika, and I felt like they also could have been explored a bit more. Not much was explained about Acca and Ura-Acca and Japan Plati as a whole and seeing Kotobuki at the end was very weird.

Overall I would have liked for more things to be explained. Most of the time everything felt like it was just a bunch of different scenes that are put together and have minimal to no correlation at all.
