Review of Dorohedoro

ok the concept for this one slapped. the soundtrack slapped. the animation slapped. the plot kept me very interested. but i would not recommend this to anyone. after a certain point i felt like i was only watching for shin and noi because their relationship was very compelling. the rest of the story kind of fell by the wayside for me and i cared about them more than any of the other characters. i really enjoyed getting to learn their backstories and see them develop. i did not like the way the narrative treated ebisu and that was one of the main reasons i rated it solow. she's 13!!!! begging showrunners to be normal about children in their shows.

anyway dorohedoro has some of the best eds i've ever seen. they're so fun and i have them in my spotify library. the fight scenes were also amazingly animated and i loved seeing everyone's powers in action.

i will probably watch season 2 if/when it comes out just to see more of the story but i don't think anyone else should watch it. i guess.
