Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

A perfect show that loses some points because of its length. It really starts to dwell on the same emotional beats and it starts to get stale. Near the end I was making myself laugh because it felt like family guy but for melancholy instead of funny. stark: "wow frieren you put a lot of ketchup on your fries" frieren: flashback to lunch with the gang eisen: "wow himmel you put a lot of ketchup on your fries" himmel: "whats life without a little sauce y'know" frieren: end flashback frieren: "whats life without a little sauce y'know"point being they reuse the same framing for storytelling a lot and it gets old

It's really my only complaint with the show.
