Spoiler warning

This review may discuss plot details.

I highly recommend re-reading this manga after you finish it. There are a lot of subtle clues that become clearer the second time around. For example, in the last chapter, the homeless man says, "The snake seduced Eve and she ate the forbidden apple." Then, near the end, Black and White actually show you the apple, almost inviting you to take a bite. In the Bible, after Eve eats the apple, she gains the knowledge of good and evil—which really made me want to go back and look for more hidden meanings. If you decide to re-read, pay attention to the details. Who eats the applein the story? Where is the snake? What is "good" and "evil" means in this story? Remember what the rat says in chapter 3: "This town is like a big playground (Garden)." Now that you’ve "eaten the apple," you might notice a lot more.

The author even leaves us with a thought-provoking quote in the last chapter: "Where can you see from there, can you see light? Can you see dreams? Nothing can be seen from here." It really makes you think about what you might have missed the first time.
