Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

I'm not very good at writing and as such I often don't write reviews, but I had to for Frieren. I don't know what else to say than this show feels like being embraced in a warm hug. It's a slow show for sure, but peculiarly comforting. There's something about this show that feels like being wrapped in a warm hug. Yes, it's slow paced, but there's something deeply comforting about that. The writing is exceptional, and it's clear how much care is put into every character. Even tone-off characters get these beautiful, heartwarming stories that make you genuinely care about them. Going into it (without knowingmuch about it) I expected a action adventure fantasy. But I was pleasantly surprised and it feels more like an "every day" kind of thing about life after the great adventure. And somehow this feels just as epic.
