As a long term BL fan, this story touches on the really less toxic side how BL should be interpreted and that is something that should be appreciated in this work. Story - 9/10 Despite the cliché storyline (I admit nerd x delinquent trope is probably one of the most common tropes ever) & high school romance, the story doesn't really focus on the nerd x delinquent part, in fact the ML (I think) has no care for it. It had a similar feel to Sasaki and Miyano in a way, well a LOT so if you enjoy that I recommend this one! The storytends shifts to mainly the MC's backstory and past mistakes, which adds a lot of character depth to him, and later even the side characters too! That being said...

Character - 10/10
The characters are just not only attractive but also have very differing personalities! I always assumed the 'nerd' would be so obsessed with the MC because the classic 'nothing ever really happened until I met you type', but I WAS WRONG! And that's one of the best parts. Even before they're relationship, even becoming friends really, they both happen really care for each other, and both of them notice each other's care which is cuteee!

Art - 10/10
The art was splendid, it had a similar feeling to Sasaki and Miyano, the eyes were cute and fit the theme very well : fluff (at least that's how I interpreted)

Finally Romance, honestly rating this is difficult so writing a long paragraph ^^
If you are a, JUMP THEM AND DO THEM RIGHT AWAY type of yaoi/bl reader, this ain't for you. It's 13+ AT BEST.
However, if you're a oh they slow burning quite a few times OH THAT'S AN ACCIDENTAL KABEDON type of reader, I suggest you to read this right away. The romance is perfectly paced to say the least, friends, date, all while still taking it slow. And barely any questions on whether it's weird for guys to like guys. Conflict in they're relationship is barely even acknowledged until around the last few 20 chapters, but even THAT gets resolved relatively quickly, so safe to say this is one of the fluffiest BL manga's every published 🥰
