Ride Your Wave follows the story of Hinako that was saved in a fire by a firefighter Minato, whom she falls in love with. Their romance ends when Minato drowns. Hinako summons him multiple times by singing a song. The story is indeed very simple, but I'd say it's acceptable. It talks about losing a loved one and not being able to move on, which was the case with Hinako. As time passes she accepts the truth which, I guess, can be called character development. For a manga with only 4 chapters, I think that's fine. When it comes to other characters though, they arenothing special.

Art is the worst thing about this manga. It's not detailed at all and makes it hard to follow what's happening. I have to say the same thing about pacing – it was weird.

Do I recommend this manga? Well no, I don't think it's worth reading, but since it's short, not much time will be wasted. This is something you would read when you're bored. So if you feel like it, go ahead. However, I recommend watching the movie instead, it's more enjoyable.
