I was a huge fan of Pandora Hearts but Vanitas no Carte is shaping up to be even better. The main characters are well-developed, and as is key with Jun Mochizuki's stories, the relationships between the characters is really important to the story. There are a lot of funny arguments which normally I might not appreciate but they are very well done. The relationship of Vanitas x Noé is especially fascinating. The art is great, especially the clothing and the facial expressions. I love the emotionally expressive characters. If you appreciate feminine looking men and boys, you'd probably like this. I've read through book 5 at thispoint and am looking forward to more. Highly recommended!
