The Barbarian's Bride · review
This is a brilliant series, a completely original story that rocks without relying on tropes or generic themes like Isekai. We got an intelligent princess who lost to what were meant to be "barbaric villains," while we were expecting a crueler development it didn't turn that way. This story is an excellent example if you have two sides of different factions who are reasonable and level-headed. There is no such thing as pure unfiltered hatred in this series, everything is within reason. Things happen for a reason and feelings are logical as there is no need to go beyond that. To my surprise, the characters can maintaintheir distinct personalities while displaying collaborative measures. Above all, if we look past the war and bloodshed, we can understand there is more to a faction than we would originally think.
Plus the romance while steady, works beautifully with the story.
