Countless countries fell when they opposed her, no one ever managed to even scratch her—and then the almighty, ancient vampire finds a little girl in the forest and raises her as her daughter! “Mori de Seijo o Hirotta Saikyou no Kyuuketsu-hime: Musume no Tamenara Kuni de Moassari Horoboshimasu!” has some very interesting ideas, but it ends after 10 chapters. It feels as if it finishes more or less after the introduction. In all of these 10 chapters, the manga fails to present anything more than interesting concepts. By that I mean that it feels a bit like it's teasing that it wants to deal with certain thingsor have certain scenes in the future, but they never come.
The story also fails to really convey any emotions. The best example: the vampire and her maid are blown away because the daughter is so cute, but the reader doesn't feel that way at all – and I really enjoy reading stories like this and am usually very susceptible to such things.
All in all, it's a thoroughly interesting concept. It feels as if this was a pitch that was rejected by whoever and therefore had to be abandoned after the introduction. I think it's a shame, because I see potential in it, but even if you ignore the abrupt ending, the manga never manages to engage you emotionally.
As it's so short and doesn't feel satisfying at all, i cant recommend anybody to read this even though it was ok. 6 out of 10 Potato Points.
