Review of Strike the Blood
Honestly, don't think I've been more disappointed in a anime before. First let's start with how bad annoying the characters are. Kojou Akatsuki becomes what they call in the story the Fourth Primogenitor which is supposed to be the strongest vampire alive. Yea, no instead what we're shown in some weakling, that gets followed by one of the many girls added to his harem (every arc he bites a new girl and they become an addition lol) named Yukina. Yukina is a middle school girl that is tasked with OBSERVING Kojou. Observing is supposed to be just watching him andmake sure he doesn't do anything evil. What she really does is carry this weakling every fight, and get in the way every fight. Along with with that she for some reason regulates and gets upset whenever he meets another girl?
Oh, I forgot to add the harem this guy Kojou has is pulled from not only High School students because you know he's in High School but also the friends of his younger sister in Middle School. Okay, but what about the world's strongest vampire? What powers does he show off? How awesome is he? He's the furthest from a badass awesome main character as you can get. Let me explain the cycle for each arc: Kojou the Weakling goes to fight someone, he gets killed (but not really because he's an immortal vampire, the newest addition to the harem lets Kojou bite their neck (but you just know the observer/stalker Yukina has to have a part in this as well because apparently she has to control that as well), Kojou then gets a new familiar after biting neck, he wins, yay new girl added to harem AND for the next arc start the whole transition over.
Now the story. We start off with Kojou just being the Fourth Primogenitor, we get weird flashbacks about the time it happened but there's literally not a single explanation about what actually happened. The plot is lackluster, boring and basically recycles the same thing again and again. I don't think I've seen a more boring anime since I started watching and that's saying a lot.
