Review of Terra Formars

Let's take them one by one and i will explain why the 5/10. Story: 3/10 The story in little words is that people years ago in a try to colonize mars left cockroaches on it's surface , however cockroaches managed to adapt. Years after due to a virus people had to travel again to mars for answers . Two crews had already died and our story refers to the third attempt. This time they also sent some modified humans with animal's powers. The story is as random as it sounds. It's like someone dreamed about huge cockroaches taking over the world (many of us bug haters probablyhave dreamed too),buffed them as much as he could and decided to throw many other ideas as well to make it work. But in the end, it did not.
Exactly because it is chaotic. The only way I see this, is as a troll/ joke attempt, and i have to admit that some deaths are spectacular smart. ( if you guessed it, it's gore and deaths part is the main reason why i gave it 5/10 )

Art: 6/10

Art did not really bothered me and i can say that is quite decent/ fair.
Cockroaches had a bit bizarre design , but nothing quite bad or unable to watch, nothing spectacular thought either.

Sound: 3/10
I am pretty sure, most of us when we think of mars, aliens invasion , we think of doom music. Well this anime, had nothing close to it at all. A repeatedly beat keep playing through all the moments of the series, nothing sadder, nothing more epic, nothing to add something to the moment and enhance a feeling. The only thing i found decent was the voice acting. Actors did a good job with whatever characters they had to try to bring to life.

Characters: 2/10
And that brings us to the worst part of this anime . The characters.
Who was he again? Oh ye, that's the whole feeling each character leaves you.
The series never try to give a proper back story and review to each character, only couple flashbacks in the middle of the anime that adds nothing whatsoever. You never get the chance to bond. pity, like or hate any of the characters because you never get the chance to know them/ or about them and when the flashbacks come it's too late cause you do not care or you have already forgotten who was he and what he has done until now in the anime.
In the end, i barely did not manage to understand who the protagonist or protagonists are.
The anime tries to go around too many characters, ending up to forget them all , and as i already said to not bond with any of them.

So overall the main enjoyment of this anime is some deaths and some gore parts it has. If you take it more as a joke you might spend some time on this one but this is as far as it can go. It's story and characters has nothing particular to offer, but the other main reason i gave it 5/10 is despite all it's negative it did not make me to dropped it. Not an anime i would want more. rewatch or completely enjoyed seeing, but not one i would drop and not finish it.
