Review of The Rising of the Shield Hero
First, let me start with the fact that I don't generally write reviews. But I believe that writing one for this anime is definitely worth it. The shows does start (as most of the other reviews say) as the typical Isekai, where the protagonist gets sent to a different world and is a lame character at first. It has some cliched features at first but, in my opinion, the show just gets better with time. It shows the character development of the protagonist in a measurable manner. He goes from being super excited of the idea of being a hero to even be a villain tohero again, but all to his own merit and the people around him.
I found the art quite enjoyable, a very colorful and beautiful world. It reminds me of that kind of Gaelic game we'd all like to play. I have to say that my favourite character is Filo (Firo in the manga).
Altough the anime adapts the manga very well, it completely deviates from it at the end. Going to the same end with a different path; that's how I would describe it.
At the end, I really enjoyed the anime, it was completely worth it and I am looking forward to a second season.
Cheers!
