Review of The Rising of the Shield Hero

This anime is extremely, like extremely overrated.. I started it with high expectations, but as I watched, nothing happens out of expectations, I mean, what's the point if you watch something you know what gonna happen next? And that's just because it's typical... I actually have no idea why people like this, and I tried asking around but even got told to keep this 'wrong' opinion to myself lol. Ok, what's so disappointing about this anime? 1. The whole thing of Myne is an oooold overused idea, I couldn't even hate her because of the lameness of her existence and actions, the author should'veat least given her some personality depth or something.. she had no reason nor goal for her actions.

2. The slave becoming so loyal to the main character.. getting harem increased every 2 episodes.. and yeah.
No need to note on how the king also has no depth or anything.

3. The way some characters talk are reaaally disgusting.. that green-haired girl with itsuki or fitoria.. way too tacky? forced? cringyyy what do they call it.. why do they still do this? that's too old now already.

4. L'arc and the girl with him.. well, after getting used to watching this anime, a nice guy and girl appear outta nowhere.. and guess what? they're nice! lol
I expected them to turn out evil from the first appearance.. and guess what? they actually were. :c

There are more but I can't remember the rest because I watched the first 20 eps when it was airing, and forced my way to finish it now lol.

Though in short, nothing happens out of expectations, too generic, and you don't enjoy anything because it's all forced...
