The Wind Rises is, in my opinion, yet another Masterpiece from Miyazaki,. But this film is one of his best (in my opinion of course). It is about a young man Horikoshi Jirou a dedicated aeronautical engineer who (since a child) loves planes and sees them as dreams made by engineers and he gives his work everything he has and more all with a smile for his passion until the end. This film beautifully shows the passion of someone that loves every detail of his interest and job. all while he dreams about his love for planes and meets the love of his life. atthat point, he decides to share his love, passion, and time with her and his interest (I say 'interest and passion' but I don't think that describe fully. It's a lot more than that and I can't find a word that is best to describe it).

I couldn't help but cry when a watched this beautiful film, do to the beauty of how this film, by Miyazaki Hayao, that shows the passion of two people and the people around them. From Horikoshi's best friend, boss, and co-worker to his family and the love of his life. After watching this film I had to change my top 10 films and Favourite Anime list to include this amazing film

I can't help but relate to this masterpiece. At the time that I'm writing this, I'm still studying for my dream job as an Electrician/Electromechanical Maintenance, but even now when studying I'm Really passionate and can't help but to stop in admire Electrical works or practical work. I even have a friend that is also has a similar passion for the same interests, just like how Horikoshi Jirou had his best friend Kirou Honjou. So far I'm enjoying every detail of my studies, just like the main character.
Yeah I know I've been talking about my life for a bit, but that is a part of why I love this film and I think I can say with certainty that most people judge anime of movies with parts of their lives.

[Story: 7/10]
I gave the story an 8 because as much as it is heart warming and amazing to watch it unfold, compared to the characters, animation, and sound it isn't a 10/10. but to me It's like rating the Star Wars films, they are all really good but some are better than others. Also, I kind of rate stuff a little different, sometimes I rate them based on other films like Studio Ghibli film with other Studio Ghibli films or It with other Horror films
But on rare occasions, I rate films based on a general basis and on the film itself (if that makes any sense). Some Example of this for me is: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, the Star Wars films, Hotarubi no Mori e and now this film.

[Art: 9/10]
This one speaks for itself, Studio Ghibli is Amazing with their art and the why they use it. I could talk about it for hours, so I'll only say one thing that I really admire the most in this film. The way they make the planes look alive with how they sometimes make metal look like it's breathing and alive.

[Sound: 9/10]
Like with their art, Studio Ghibli is amazing with their sound and music and this film... sadly does not take the cake for best sound and music in a Studio Ghibli film. But nonetheless the music and sound of this film is used really well with Its story and characters.

[Character: 10/10]
The characters in this film are well written and even some of the side characters are enjoyable to see develop and age with the story and the relations that they have with others and each other. And they are the side characters, so without going on a really long rant I'll summarise my liking of these characters with talking about one side character (with at least amount of spoilers): The main characters boss, he starts as your typical angry boss but bit by bit you get to know him a little and he starts respecting the main character and his work. And from there on he starts helping Horikoshi for spoilers for reasons.

[Enjoyment: 10/10]
Kept simple, I Enjoyed the Duck out of this film for many reasons but mainly because of how much I related to the main character and the moment he and his best friend gush about their passion and the details of it.

[Overall: 10/10]
I can't help be sense this review is very Bias and purely base off of my opinion. But that doesn't change that fact that this film is amazingly beautiful and as much as I would love to talk about this amazing film but i don't think anyone wants to read that much.

I 100% love this film and without a duo I will recommend this film to just about anyone.
Finally think I've found the "best one film ever" or something like that do to how beautiful it is.
