Review of Monster

Monster in my humble opinion is the greatest and most complete anime (or any show for that matter) that i’ve ever seen. Naoki Urasawa’s Monster plays out like the ultimate chess match between two characters who begin as the ultimate case of good and evil, but throughout an immersive slowburn of 70+ episodes the line between these opposites is blurred and messied until a climax that leaves you feeling satisfied but also wanting more. I loved how the side characters were given proper roles without taking away from the developing main plot, it felt like throughout every minute not a monent wouldn’t come back andbe important down the line. I do see how someone could say the pacing is subpar, but I think if your able to immerse yourself in the story and characters you should really enjoy Monster.
