Review of Monster
(FREE REVIEW) (My native language is not english, so I'm using translater to not make mistakes.) (Also, this is my first review, so you know...) Look at me! Look at me! The monster inside me is about to come out! Monster... How do we start, first of all the story History: 10/10 The series tells the story of a Japanese neurosurgeon named Kenzo Tenma, who believing to do the right thing saves the life of an apparently normal child; but far from reality, this child is actually a sociopathic murderer who will change and destroy the lives of all those who cross his path. I consider it to be oneof the best stories I have seen in my life, I feel that it is very complete, and it makes us doubt everything until we ask ourselves the same question at the end, who is the real monster?
Art: 9/10 An art that can be difficult to get used to at first if you have seen other series with another format, but this type of art gives the story a touch of realism.
Sound: 8.5/10 I'm not much of a sound scorer, but I think they're just average sounds, used at the right time, making you more nervous than you are.
Characters: 10/10 In this anime I've seen the best characters of my entire life, you make me grow fond of many, you hate some, but in the end, they're all human (except Johan who is the devil xd), I like it a lot the development of some characters whose life seemed to be going from bad to worse at first, and I also liked seeing that in the end everyone (well, almost everyone :C) achieved what they wanted to do.
Entertainment: 10/10 With Monster you will never get bored if you have culture, well now if xd I consider that it is very well worked, you will never get bored with everything that happens, it is true that it may seem slow in some parts, but it is because all the points of the series are deepened.
Plot Twist: 11/10 A very good plot twist, the best I've seen, it made me doubt until the end, actually if you pay a LOT of attention to the series, it can become a bit predictable, in my case, I came up with several theories , and one of them was correct, not exactly, but it was very similar.
Final: 11/10 Also the best ending I've seen, I really like the reflection left by the characters, actually, in all the chapters they leave a reflection, passing with the ending, I consider it to be an open ending, each one can interpret it in a certain way, and as I have mentioned, everyone can think and think, in the end, who is the real monster?
Overall: 10/10 Monster is my favorite anime. It's that simple. It is the best story I have seen in my life, I like everything, everything. I highly recommend Monster. Thank you Naoki Urasawa, you are a genius.
