One of the most enjoyable shows of all time. One can never make a statement like that on objective criteria, except if its about Samurai Champloo. Now there are 2 reasons to watch this anime. The first and most obvious one, the characters. Mugen, Fuu, and Jin are the greatest mcs to ever do it. In every episode the way they bounce off each other is unmatched. 2 loners stuck together by someone who refuses to let them spilt ( and also kill each other ). There is too much to love about the dynamic that they share. Mugen is the fan favourite but it would'vebeen nice to get some more Jin screentime, but the episodes that did focus him were fantastic.

The second one is the soundtrack. Samurai Champloo, like Cowboy Bebop is an homage (or love letter or repensentation or whatever) to a genre of music. In Samurai Champloo that genre is hip-hop with a lot of instrumentals. Nujabes ( Rest In Peace ) gave it his all when it came to the tracks he worked on for this anime. There is music here like no other, not only is its quality sublime, but the use in each scene ( especially the action scenes ) rivals all media past and future.

Samurai Champloo is a masterpiece. This review is extremely vague and broad, but that does not matter. For Samurai Champloo is a masterpiece.
