I like this series, and it’s overall pretty good in setting and concept. I know it’s criticized for this, but I never really minded the animation and kind of liked the cartoony feel it had sometimes. The one issue I have is that Mallow didn’t have a chance to shine, as I loved her cute design and personality and is my fav pokegirl, but was constantly one upped by Ash, Kiawe, Lilie, Sophocles, and even her best friend Lana in importance and skill, which is a shame because she had potential to be a really interesting trainer but was one upped by the rest ofthe cast.
