The promotional trailers leading up to The Faraway Paladin release really did not do this show justice. As such I was surprised at the quality of the animation and music, plus how well the story is told, The pacing of the story isn't so slow that it becomes boring and disengaging and it's not so fast that you feel like the story is rushed and that you're missing out on the main characters growth. For me, The Faraway Paladin is definitely the number 1 stand-out new show of this anime season and is definitely in the top 5 anime shows of the year. Overall theshow is An Unexpected Beautiful Masterpiece.
