I really enjoyed the Rei series and Iroutoutoshi-hen was awesome. I found it really refreshing to see all the characters we've grown to love over the entirety of the series finally old! They weren't murdered at a young age and we get to see their kids! In the first and second Rei mangas the adult club members had smaller roles and felt more like small teasers of what might be. This manga is where we got to see them really shine like their youthful selfs. Mion was still causing trouble and teehee'ing about it. Rena was still powerful and scarily observant. Keichi was still superpassionate and charming his way into people's hearts. Satoko was still the cutest and most cunning.

The best part was when the kids had a similar fight like their parents did and they came to the same conclusion as their parents did in the past. Keitarou and Kihiro fight the same way Rena and Keichi fight on the rooftop of the school and realize friendship is more important. This manga covered so many psychological topics like domestic violence, sheep mentality, and personal space.

The BBKB thing at the end was hilarious and very meta, as the other reviewer said and I had to google what "meta" meant. Agreed, my dude. It reminds me of the famous Silent Hill Joke Endings with the shiba inu. BUT, I don't consider this manga's ending a joke ending. It was like seeing the club members perform the ultimate punishment game from their youthful club activities.
