This is one of those manga that looks promising from the outset, and then you stay with it and you just kinda get....bored isn't the word for it but like one step below bored ya know? Nothing really goes wrong for the protagonist, at most things become obstacles you know he'll blow through with relative ease even if he might struggle once or twice. Despite having no cheat skills or really any OP abilities like you'd think about them, he's still the one of the most blatantly OP protagonists I've ever seen. And he worked hard to get there don't get me wrong, the opening chaptersare all filled with him struggling and trying and failing and learning, but there comes a point where it all sort of just begins to snowball into OPness and it's no longer interesting to read about. How's he going to defeat this enemy? Same way he did the last ones. How's this problem going to be solved? Same way the others all were.

It becomes repetitive and the worst thing is it's not incompetently written enough you can dislike it, it just becomes kinda dull to read. And that's honestly sad because there's so much here that has promise, and some really good ideas but it's just not well put together. There's a lot of "hand of the author moving pieces around" to it, where they obviously want to do certain plot points and ideas but they feel forced. The magic system is one of these, there's a decent explanation for why the MC has so much mana that's actually really intruiging, but not why he can seemingly do everything else he's capable of beyond a mostly handwaved explanation.

And it kinda sucks that this is the case since there's a lot to like in this story, some supremely interesting ideas, and even small details to enjoy but it's all just not put together well enough to recommend as anything but a novelty. Maybe when it starts getting much more chapters the author will be able to refine these ideas into a more coherent set of concepts and themes but even then you're asking a lot for people to buy multiple volumes *before* it gets to the well made sections.
