When you add a bunch of classic tropes and cliches together, this is the result. The main premise might make it more attractive than other stories around this level, which is why I would rate it higher. Overall, it's a nice story to pass the time with, but it isn't anything extraordinary (In a good way). The art style started out strong, but as the manga progressed, it became noticeably worse? Anyhow, it was miles better than the illustrations in the light novel, and it was appealing enough to keep reading. The heroine has a pretty generic backstory, but importantly, the male lead wasn't a patheticand preverted introvert compared to other mcs I've seen recently.

Anyhow, I think that the key to enjoying this is just to lay back your expectations and lean into the tropes that make rom-coms great, because they wouldn't be considered tropes if they weren't.
