Esse capítulo especial de Boruto: Naruto Next Generations é basicamente uma história focada no desenvolvimento do Mitsuki, e sinceramente cumpre bem esse papel. Ao mesmo tempo em que aprofunda o personagem, ele também aproveita para mostrar como Orochimaru está inserido no mundo atual da obra, o que por si só já é algo interessante, considerando toda a bagagem que ele carrega desde Naruto.

O que mais me agrada nesse especial é justamente o fato de ele explorar um ponto que sempre ficou meio vago: o modo sennin do Mitsuki. Aqui, temos uma explicação mais clara sobre como ele possui essa habilidade, além de reforçar algo que é, ao mesmo tempo, curioso e irônico, o próprio Mitsuki é essencialmente um experimento criado pelo Orochimaru com o objetivo de alcançar ou aperfeiçoar o modo sennin. Além disso acho meio cômico que alguém que já foi reconhecido como um dos “Três Grandes Sennins” não possui um modo sennin.

O Mitsuki, como personagem, sempre teve aquele ar enigmático e distante, e esse especial ajuda bastante a dar mais contexto pra existência dele. Não é uma mudança radical ou um desenvolvimento gigantesco, mas já adiciona camadas importantes, principalmente no que diz respeito à sua identidade e ao seu propósito. É aquele tipo de aprofundamento que não é obrigatório pra entender a história principal, mas enriquece muito a experiência pra quem se importa com o universo.

Outro ponto positivo é a forma como esse especial funciona dentro da obra: ele tem uma pegada quase de light novel, como se fosse um conto isolado.
