This is probably one of the best mangas I have read in a while. And although all its characters are animals, it is one of the more humane stories I have read in this format. Fair enough, the duality between carnivores and herbivores doesn't translate well into our reality. But Most details and story elements end up unfolding in a very satisfying way. From finding oneself to carving your way in your truth, to the dangers of relationships and the sheltered life of school against the real world to even deeper elements like pride and shame about your cultural and genetic background.
