This series never fail to surprise me with how good the writing is despite being a typical yaoi plot. Reading the blurb makes you think 'haha just another cute and cliché misunderstanding', but it never even get to that point because early on when the kouhai was introduced as a love rival it didn't go the love triangle route. Instead, we see these two MC's love for each other become deep that I never thought this story could get much deeper since their relationship started. Out of all the yaoi stories I've read, this is probably one of a handful that's so beautiful and poeticyet very sensible and realistic take about being in a relationship and wanting to be in said relationship that you would work hard on yourself for the person you love. It's really nice and very mature for college people to think about that I wish I was this sensible back then too.
