Review of Land of the Lustrous
Land of the Lustrous was one of the most well-executed fantasy series of this year. Beside Made in Abyss, I can safely say it was quite a fantasy series. Some fantasy series this year had the premise, but they did not have a proper world-building. However, these two that I have just cited are an exception. The premise of anthropomorphic jewelry in a post-apocalyptic world and the physical and spiritual consequences that led to this state is something truly unheard of for me. Each character is relatable, his little bows are always loaded with emotions causing each character to be valued. A mixture of melancholy, humor, among other things, made this series an incredible journey. The fact that we get caught up in the story every week and the way it was being executed is something that deserves attention. Anyway, Land of the Lustrous is literally a jewel of the season, and the year. Recommend [if you have good will] to anyone you meet; I'm sure the person will not regret it.
