Review of Devilman: Crybaby

Story: This show takes a phat, steaming, dump on the manga by making an altered rendition of the original story that does a horrible job of explaining what is the hell is going on. Art: The animation is nice and fluid, but the show looks god-awful. Characters are often drawn inconsistently with differing disgusting, lengthy, proportions. Sound:Does a good job. I like the soundtrack... except the lame-ass intro. WHY DIDN'T YOU USE THE NEW VERSION OF Débilman No Uta? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!

Characters:

Ryo is the best example of why the characters have been significantly downgraded. Ryo and Akira basically have no relationship other than childhood flashbacks. Ryo just sits around - does literally nothing until the end.

Enjoyment:

Wanted to kill myself every time I had to hear someone rap.
If you are masochistic and like edgy content, just for the sake of being edgy, then this is for you.
